Proofs, questions & occasional breakthroughs

Mathematics & Research

I enjoy mathematics most when an unfamiliar problem forces me to think differently.

Ross Mathematics Program

I spent six weeks at Ross exploring proof-based mathematics, particularly number theory, Gaussian integers, and algebraic structures.

Beyond the mathematics, Ross taught me the value of asking questions, sharing unfinished ideas, and learning alongside people who are just as excited by a difficult proof as I am.

Quantitative Finance Research

How should an investor respond when markets become increasingly unpredictable?

My research explores dynamic asset allocation strategies in Indian equity markets, combining momentum, volatility, and measures of downside risk to evaluate investment decisions under changing market conditions.

I've also investigated how persistent market regimes and extreme losses affect the feasibility of investment strategies.

Areas: Mathematical finance, risk modelling, portfolio optimisation, time-series analysis.
